I'm so glad you're here. I'm Lisa (she/her), a trauma specialist with a focus on neurodiversity. As a neurodivergent therapist myself, I'm familiar with the challenges that come with being different. Many people, including well-intentioned therapists, don't fully grasp the intricacies of neurodivergent experiences, leaving us feeling misunderstood and unsupported.
That's why I provide therapy that's tailored to you. I believe in incorporating your values, preferences, and special interests into our sessions. By doing so, we can address your specific goals and challenges in a way that aligns with your inherent strengths and learning style.

Online Therapy
I can work with you no matter where you are in California. Access therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home or any other private area of your choice, such as your office at work or even your parked car.
Appointment Reminders
Receive reminders with your virtual session link through email and SMS so that you remember your upcoming appointment and can easily log in. Automated reminders are sent 48 hours, 24 hours, and 10-15 minutes before each appointment. You can opt out of reminders at any time.
Flexible Scheduling
View my real-time availability and easily manage your appointments in my client portal. The portal is available 24/7, allowing you to cancel and request appointments at your convenience. No more phone tag, texting, or emailing back and forth!
Getting Started
Taking the guesswork out of the process

Contact me
The hardest part is getting started. Send me a message and I'll answer whatever questions you have. If you decide you'd like to work with me, I'll get you set up in my client portal and we'll tentatively schedule our first appointment.

Complete documents and set up payment
You'll complete your intake documents, including consent forms and questionnaires, electronically in your client portal. Please complete them as best you can, as they'll help me get a better understanding of your current symptoms, needs, and goals. You must complete your documents and set up payment at least 24 hours in advance of your tentative appointment. Otherwise, it will be canceled and you'll be able to reschedule once these items are complete.

Receive appointment link (and reminders)
Once your intake documents are complete and payment has been set up, you'll receive an appointment confirmation with video chat link through SMS and email. The email comes with an option to add the appointment and video link to an online calendar of your choice. You'll also receive an email reminder 48 hours and 10 minutes before each appointment, and an SMS reminder 24 hours and 15 minutes before each appointment. You may opt out of SMS and/or email reminders at any time.

Log in to your virtual therapy session
Join our session from your computer, phone, or tablet. If you're using a computer, just click the appointment link and you'll be directed to our session - no downloads required. If you're using a phone or tablet, you'll be prompted to download an app called Telehealth for Simple Practice when you click the appointment link. The app is required for sessions on mobile devices. Note: You'll receive a new, unique link before every session. Be sure to log in from a private location. You're ready to begin your first therapy session!

Online talk therapy or EMDR for adults in California. Neurodiversity-affirming therapy, if applicable, will also be incorporated. All neurotypes welcome!
